The
United States boasts the highest percentage of professing evangelicals in the
world and still America has:
- The highest percentage of single-parent
families in the world
- The highest abortion rate in the world
- The highest rate of sexually transmitted
diseases in the world
- The highest teenage birth rate in the world
- The highest rate of teenage drug use in the
world
The
Solution a R.I.O.T. - We need a Righteous Invasion Of Truth. We must ask
ourselves why are we not seeing the
dramatic impact of Christianity upon the secular society that the New Testament Church
saw?
Gods looking for a
Revolutionary People...
"You
shall receive power once the Holy Spirit has come upon you," Act 1:8
...to
manifest the Greatest Outpouring,
"In
the last days I will pour out my spirit..." (Acts
2:17).
...to
bring in the Greatest Harvest,
"Upon
all flesh..." (Acts 2:17)
...to see Greatest Miracles, Signs
and wonders,
"I will show wonders in the
heavens..." (Joel 2:28-30)
Whenever the
Church goes astray God raises up revivalist, reformers and non conformist who
will go against the grain of religion and stand up for the truth of God.

Revival is the Holy Spirits power made
manifest, Acts 2:4
God is searching to and fro the whole earth
looking for a people whose gaze is ever towards the heavens. Whose hearts,
actions and attitudes are wholly His. God wants a people passionately in love
with Him, with a burden for the lost, a desire to fellowship and drive to
worship God in all they do. And then and only then can God power out His
torrential rains of revival. Will you be one of the chosen ones? Are you one of
the called out? Will you be one of the sons of God set on fire?
Romans
9:1,7
“Even for this purpose I have raised
you up, that I might show My power in
you and that My name might be declared in all the earth.”
The cover of the
Worship Together CD "Revival Generation" says it all. The cover reads this way, "IMAGINE, a Generation that passes on a passion for Jesus to a New Generation of History Makers. A Revival Generation is arising around the world. Passionate for Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, they’re singing with fervor and honesty, poetic but radical sounding songs of praise and worship. There is a New Breed, touched by a godly confidence, a Generation who will
touch the world with the Story of Jesus and the Forgiveness we can find through the Cross." WOW that says
allot, will you be one of the called out ones, the sons of God set on fire? For
this purpose God sent you to this earth to accomplish the task of reaching the
world for Christ as a part of the mighty army of God.
Acts 5:28, "You have filled Jerusalem with your
teaching."
That is a
strong rebuke and a proclamation that made the Apostles excited. They must have
been jumping, shouting and proclaiming, "We did it!" What
was meant as a rebuke was actual a praise report. Things are quickening in these last days, communication is faster, travel is faster, everything is faster and
learning is at the highest level it has ever been. Isaiah says can a nation be saved in a day.
That tells me that Nations can then be saved in a few days. God could sweep the world into the kingdom of God in a few weeks before the rapture and leave the few rebellious wicked people on the earth to suffer the Great Tribulation. The book of Daniel says in the last days knowledge will increase. We are seeing that come to pass like never before. This Generation has seen more prophetic signs of the end of the world than any before. If we are not the last Generation we are near it. No person can know when it will happen however we know it can’t be to long know. Israel has become a nation again,
the reinstitution of a European common market - the revised Roman Empire, the Reconstruction of the Babylonian
Temple, the reconstruction of King David’s Temple, the Euro dollar with a picture of the harlot on the beast of Revelation, cloning, One World Government, the New World Order,
the One World Religion - Universalism, the Beast – the world largest computer system in America and Europe that have all the information for everyone health, wealth, location, etcetera…,
the Universal ID Card with the global positioning chip in it that has all your information on it, etcetera…
The bible
gives me hope in these bleak times. The bible says that in one generation the world will have a comprehensive representation of the gospel before the
snatching away, the blessed hope of the church and the great tribulation of the
world. Are you ready for the Glorious Appearing of Jesus with His bride, the
Church, (Matt 24:14,34; Joel 2:28; Acts 2:17). Will you be part of the Greatest
Revolution before the great and awesome day of our God? Stand up and be counted
for... make your voice known.
Acts 16:20, "These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our
city."
Revolution
means to overturn, to bring an upheaval, to start an uproar, to revolve or to
bring about change. A revolution can be a peaceful revolution or a violent
revolution. The industrial revolution was peaceful however the communist
revolution was anything but peaceful. Revolution literally means to overturn as
with one revolution of the fly wheel in a car engine, the pistons pump,
turning the ignition coil, the spark plugs ignite the fuel, slamming down the
piston and the engine turns over yet
another time or as the sun revolves around its axis. New Covenant Christian life
must be that of a constant overturning or reviving as many call it. The Church
must be revolving, turning, moving and growing. Without revolution the church is
dead there is no life. The must be constant new life and vibrancy in the church
without such the church is a dead stale pig skin, that is cracked and can no
longer contain new wine. Revival and church life is revolution, without a
turning over or newness of life there is stale stagnant religion. Matthew 9:17,
says that you do not pour old wine into new wine skins. Wine is a symbol of the
Holy Spirit and we are to be filled with the new wine of the Holy Ghost which
means we must continually have our wine skins refreshed or reformed. We must go
through a revolution in the way the church looks and acts to the world. When the
divorce rate in the church is the same as the world. When we have the largest
Christian population and half the world has yet to hear the full gospel. When
the church is fractioned and bickering. It is time for a reformation of the way
the church looks and acts. It is time for a holy revolution not of might or
power but by the spirit of the Lord. The church standing up being the church to
the world in the power of the spirit. The purpose of the church is to
train, equip and activate every member into ministry however for so long we have
relegated minister to the Pastors, Teachers and Evangelist, (Ephesians
4:10-16). It is time for a reformation of faith and practice. It is time
for us to return to the word of God and follow the pattern laid out for us. Joel
2:28 says that God will pour out His spirit on all flesh and that the young and
old, male and female alike will minister. It is time for us to rise up, stand up
and go out for Christ establishing His kingdom, fulfilling His command.
"Will you not revive us again?" (Psalms 85:6). We need a holy
revolution.
God is looking for some radical
non-conformist who will stand up and be transformers for Jesus Christ. It is
time that we transform our change/impact the world for, Jesus Christ.
"Do not conform and
longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your
mind. Then you will be able to test and prove, what God's will is - His good,
pleasing and perfect will," (Romans 12:2)
The Keys to being a revolutionary Christian
are, (Acts 2:42-48):
- Praise & Prayer - the Key of David
releasing the Harp & Bowl
- Bible Study - remaining in the Apostles Doctrine
- Gathering with the saints and
fellowshipping with the lost
- Evangelism Explosion
- Learning to Dwell in Unity
- Bringing your Tithes & Offerings
with joy
- Being filled with the Holy Ghost and Joy
- Ministering with the Grace of God given
to each individual
What
is The JESUS Revolution?
- It is NOT
rebellion.
- It is NOT a
revolt against authority.
- It is NOT a call
to violence or hatred or intimidation and terror.
- It is NOT a
revolution of bullets and bombs or fists and knives.
- It is NOT a
revolution that blows up abortion clinics and beats up gays.
- It is NOT a
revolution that hordes guns and arms for a millennial clash with the federal
government.
Absolutely
not!
The
Jesus Revolution fights a different war, with different weapons and different
goals. It
is a revolution of:
- purity
and honor.
- sanity
and morality.
- holiness
and integrity.
- compassion
and sacrifice.
- humility
and meekness.
It
is a revolution devoted to:
- change
the world in Jesus' name
- turn
society and the Church right side up
- overthrow
the status quo of sin and dead tradition
- take
back the moral ground that has been pulled out from under our feet
- spark
the most sweeping counterculture movement in our nation's history
- glorify
Jesus by life or by death.

Reading the Holy Scriptures everyday, (Psalms 1:1-3)

to show oneself approved to God, (Psalms 119:11)
5.
Sharing the gospel with others, (Matthew 28:18-20)
6.
Being an example @ church, home, work & school, (1 Timothy 4:12)
7.
Tithing and giving offerings, (Malachi 3:6-12)
8.
Actively participating in ministry and community transformation, (Acts 2:39-47)
9.
Praying for my leaders and influencing government policies, (Exodus 18:21; 1 Tim
2:1-4)
10.
Keeping myself accountable to other Christians, (Hebrews 3:12-13)
