The Real JIHAD, Holy War
Are we in a JIHAD, a Holy War?
And the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times {brighter,} like the light of seven days, on the day the LORD binds up the fracture of His people and heals the bruise He has inflicted.
And His breath is like an overflowing torrent, which reaches to the neck, to shake the nations back and forth in a sieve, and to {put} in the jaws of the peoples the bridle which leads to ruin.
You will have songs as in the night when you keep the festival; and gladness of heart as when one marches to {the sound of} the flute, to go to the mountain of the LORD, to the Rock of Israel.
And the LORD will cause His voice of authority to be heard. And the descending of His arm to be seen in fierce anger, and {in} the flame of a consuming fire, in cloudburst, downpour, and hailstones
For at the voice of the LORD Assyria will be terrified, {when} He strikes with the rod.
And every blow of the rod of punishment, which the LORD will lay on him, will be with {the music of} tambourines and lyres; and in battles, brandishing weapons, He will fight them.
For Topheth has long been ready, indeed, it has been prepared for the king. He has made it deep and large, a pyre of fire with plenty of wood; the breath of the LORD, like a torrent of brimstone, sets it afire."
These attacks of terror on
America were done by Islamic Militants who are bent on killing everything they
consider to be Christian, Jewish, American (Infidels), Israel (the Zionist),
democratic and free. They consider America to be a Christian Nation and hate us
because we support Israel. The extremists of their faith call for their
adherents to fight us, to kill us and destroy us. When they do this they
believe that they will go to heaven and receive a mighty reward. They believe
that dying for the cause is their ultimate gain. As Paul said to die is gain
for to be “absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” Our mindset
should be too express compassion and mercy upon all who believe in radically
different views and show them love. Realizing that we have a drastically
different faith and belief system. We are called by God to share our faith,
pray for them, bless them, love them, preach the gospel when we feel like it
and when we don't feel like and to give our lives for the cause of Christ.
By life or by death we are to
"live our lives as living sacrifices." I don't think we understand
that passage like God intended it however this tragedy may cause us to open our
eyes and see the truth, that we have been in a JIHAD since that day in the
Garden of Eden when Satan tempted Eve. Our battle is not carnal in nature but
spiritual. Our battle is won on our knees through our prayers, through our kind
deeds - our witness for Christ, through Jesus blood and our lives. It is time
to stand up and surrender our lives to God for the Gospel, "By Life or By
Death, I shall serve Christ and see Him glorified." Those who carried out
these horrific acts upon the World Trade Center and the Pentagon believe they were
serving Allah by killing innocent civilians who may or may not have been
Christians, Jews or supporters of either. They did those acts of cowardly
terrorism out of hate and malice against freedom and the God we love and serve
by life or by death.
Here are excerpts from their
four-page mission letter, handwritten in Arabic with quotes from the Koran
which, orders the suspected hijackers to bring "knives, your will, your
Ids…begin to live the happy life, the infinite paradise...
Purify your heart and clean it from all earthly matters.
The time of fun and waste has gone. The time of judgment has arrived...
Keep a very open mind, keep a very open heart of what you
are to face. You will be entering paradise. You will be entering the happiest
life, everlasting life...
Know the plan very well in all its aspects. You should
expect the reaction and resistance of the ENEMY...
Train yourself, explain to yourself, convince yourself and
urge yourself to carry out the mission...
Check your safety before you depart, make sure you are not
being followed...
Remember the battle of the prophet against the infidels...
When the hijackers entered the planes, they were ordered
to say,
"Oh God, open all doors for me. Oh God who answers
prayers and answers those who ask you, I am asking you for your help. ... There
is no God, but ALLAH and Mohamed is his messenger... When the plane moves and
it's on its way ... and you come to the moment of close combat, then strike
like heroes who do not want to come back to Earth, say ALLAHU AKBAR (God is
great), because you will instill terror in the infidel."
The letter also details to the men how they should handle
their last night on Earth.
Remind yourself that in this night you will face many
challenges. But you have to face them and understand it 100 percent…
Pray and wash before you leave the apartment. When you
have washed for prayer, angels will ask God to forgive you and angels will pray
for you...
You should not appear
confused and nervous but joyful, happy, relaxed, tranquil, because you are
carrying out an action that God loves."
This is a scary portrait of
what radical believers of Islam carrying out and unholy mission. Some have said
that these are Islamic Fundamentalists and Extremist that this does not
represent their faith. However in their own Koran it calls for them to kill all
who appose their religion. The whole reason the crusades started was because
Muslims started attacking and killing Christians and then Rome decided to start
the Crusades in response to their attacks. There are those in Islam who believe
that there is going to be a final Apocalyptic battle between Islam nations and
Israel and its allies mainly America. Even though this was supposed to be a
HOLY MISSION still a few of the terrorist actually went to a strip club the
night before the attacks. They are supposed to joyfully expect to have virgins
for all eternity why are they drinking and watching strippers at a strip club.
This attack on America was
meant to divide the nation, cause us to hide in fear and cripple our economy.
Far from it instead it has united our nation, given us a purpose, strengthened
the resolve of our nation to prosper and enflamed the anger of the worlds only
remaining super power. Instead of putting fear into the hearts of those that
Islamic Fundamentalist believe is a Christian nation this nation declared days
of National Prayer by the president, congressman and local city halls, Senators
and Congressman were praying and singing, God Bless America in unison. Instead
of causing masses to run in fear, masses joined in helping search for
survivors, opposing political parties united, there was an overflow of people
wanting to donate blood and give sacrificially of time and money. This nation
had the most people that ever attend church on a yearly basis, more than
Christmas and Easter, attend church. Billy Graham’s sermon and prayer for the
salvation of this nation was publicized through media to all the nations of the
world. There have been moves of reconciliation and outreach among the different
religious organizations. God is moving on the hearts of our leaders.
However, God wants to take us
closer to Him during this tragedy, it is time for National repentance so that
God can bring national revival. We must turn from our wicked ways so that God
can heal our land and protect us from any further acts of terror. The bible
says that when a nation follows God in obedience that He protects it. However
when a nation turns from Him as America has over the last 30 years we tie His
hands and He can no longer protect us from the evil and wicked things of the
world. Many ask why would a loving God allow pain and tragedy. We forget that
God created everything perfect. Sin and suffering came into the world through
Adam and Eve’s temptation and fall from God’s grace. God created man in His
image with a spirit and a free will; true love will never force you to do what
is right. However truelove will give you the choices and the consequences and
will allow you to make your own decision. Unless we repent and return to the
faith of our forefathers, the belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and that He died
for our sins and only through repentance and faith in Him can we be saved and
this nation be blessed and protected by God.

It is for freedom that Christ
has set us free to proclaim His liberty to the oppressed and captive.
Whenever
the Church goes astray God raises up revivalist, reformers and non-conformist
who will go against the grain of religion and stand up for the truth of God.
God did this with Martin Luther and his 91 Thesis against the Catholic Church
and his followers the Lollers. Jonathan Wesley Got kicked out of the Anglican
Church for preaching the gospel. During the Azusa Street Revival the Mainline
Denominations kicked out all those who had an experience with the Charismatic
gifts. Jesus Christ was persecuted by the Pharisee's, and had to go against the
grain of religion to establish the truth in the face of martyrdom, if it was so
with the builder of the house how much more with the bricks and mortar of the
house. The Apostles would either start a Revival or Riot. God is asking every
Christian in this generation to stand up and preach the gospel wherever they
go. Spiritul Awakening is Gods Promise to a nation that turns its hearts, faces and actions to God, 2 Chronicles 7:15. Spiritual Revival is the Holy Spirits
power made real for to the world with power to transform society, Acts 4:30-33.
Many wonder is it right for us to go to war and attack those who declared this holy war on us. The purpose of civil government is to enforce the moral codes of the land, the laws of God. God established the biblical patern for governing a land with Judicial, Legislative and Administrative functions along with maintaining security forces (police), militaries for defense, prisions and capital punishment for the most serious offenders. Its is the moral and biblically correct thing to do, defending our land and protecting the freedoms that were endowed to us by our Creator. Not only is it biblical it is our spiritual duty as barrers of the light of the gospel of Christ.
Many are also asking why bad things and tragedies happen as if it was Gods fault. The bible says that God put Adam over all the works of His hand and that because of willful disobedience Adam gave his birthright to the deciever satan for a measily fruit. Thus this world was turned over to the power of the enemy. Wickedness happens because manking hasn't taken his place of authority in Gods plan. Jesus redeemed us to our pre-fallen condition. We now have access to the power and authority that Adam had. But most of us don't know that and don't use it.
2 Corinthians 4:4, "Whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them."
Those who love their God in times of trial and testing will shine bright and do mighty deeds of heroism.
Daniel 11:31-32; 12:3, "And forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the abomination of desolation. And by smooth {words} he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will display strength and take action... And those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever."
